Building communities to new heights
The renovation of The Maryland Apartments was a key initiative within the Aeon Minneapolis Portfolio Project (MP3), aimed at refreshing existing properties to continue offering affordable efficiency apartments. Originally operating as the Hotel Maryland, this historic building has been a cornerstone of the Loring Park Neighborhood in Minneapolis since its inception, transitioning into an apartment complex in 1982.
In the capacity of owner’s representative for this endeavor, Rockwise played a crucial role in ensuring project adherence to timelines and in assisting Aeon with strategic budget management to optimize upgrades within the allocated funding. Both interior and exterior revitalizations were carried out, including enhancements to the roof, installation of new windows, upgrades to heating systems and plumbing, and refurbishment of community rooms.
