The modernization of the Heritage Apartments was part of the Aeon Minneapolis Portfolio Project (MP3), which rehabilitated existing Aeon properties to continue providing efficiency apartments at an affordable price. Built in 1886, the Heritage Apartments hold historical significance in the Elliot Park neighborhood of Minneapolis as the birthplace of oil baron J. Paul Getty.
As the owner’s representative, Rockwise ensured the project stayed on schedule and assisted Aeon in managing the contingency budget to maximize the upgrades within the allocated funding for all 10 properties within the MP3 project. The project required both interior and exterior improvements, including new flooring, lighting, fixtures, and the replacement of damaged exterior brick.
