Rockwise provided cost estimates across multiple design phases for the demolition and replacement of the existing safety rest area at the Clear Lake – Jackson, MN location. The project entailed constructing a new 4,540 SF building to serve as a restroom and safety area for travelers on I-90.
The design and engineering of the building incorporated sustainable features aimed at preserving the integrity and beauty of the project site. Key features of the new building include a green roof and limestone site walls. Site rehabilitation efforts on the 3-acre site encompassed the installation of new walkways, landscaping, play areas, pet exercise areas, and picnic areas.
